  1. The best phone case ever!
    Rating

This case was the best, most useful case I have ever had. I wish they made them for my Samsung A42. The card slot was just right to hold the cards I needed. The magnetic back was the best feature. It save my phone several times from a horrible end. Once, I left my phone on top of my car and I drove home from work, 30 miles on the highway. When I got home I couldn’t find my phone and I thought I had left it at work, but when I got out of my car I found my phone exactly where I left it, on the top of my car. My wife would’ve killed me if I had lost my phone. This case saved my life. In the end the case outlasted the phone. I have the case about 3 1/2 years before it started to wear out. The magnetic flap started to pull away from where it was attached to the case. I really miss this case.

  2. A must have!!!

I love this thing!!! Holds my insurance card, credit card, ID and a folded $20! Haha! No purse for me! It fits in my pocket and I am ready to go! The back folds so you could use it as a stand. Vertically it is at an awkward angle, but horizontally it holds it at the perfect angle! I’ve had it for months and drop it all the time! It protects my phone and my cards! I have gotten the ones with the plastic doors before and the hinges always break. I don’t see this breaking, but the back does require some nails to get it off. It is fabric and hugs the phone tightly, as it should, but is tricky to get opened sometimes, even after a few months.

  3. Great Case for may Samsung S-7

This case nearly exactly what I have been using for a cell phone case in the past except this one allows me to store my DL and 2 flat credit/debit cards. I wouldn’t want the cards any easier to get out for fear of accidentally losing them. I have already dropped the phone a few times and the case has provided very good protection. This case is exactly what I was looking for. Good protection and allows me to leave the wallet at home. One downside, I now have to plug my phone in to recharge it but the case is cut well for easy connection to my charger cord so it is a small price to pay for the convenience of dumping the wallet. This is a great case, I am very happy with this purchase.

  5. This Thing is Great

First let me say that I have tried several different types of wallet cases and this is the only one that I felt comfortable using. I don’t care for the type that fold up like a wallet with slots for credit cards etc. (Too bulky). I didn’t like the type with a pouch on the back to slide cards into. After a couple on months they stretched out and the cards were not secure. Then there are the type like this one. Most will only hold a maximum of two cards and many have a little plastic door on the back under which you store your cards. My experience was that the door broke off immediately. In one case it was broken when I received the case. Then I bought this little beauty. I works to store three cards. I keep my work ID, my drivers licence, and one credit card. All other cards are accessible through Samsung Pay, the one I carry is just in case S Pay doesn’t work wherever I am. I can also fit a bill for that very rare occasion where cash is required. The case itself is well made, it is fairly easy to put the phone into and take it out of the case. All controls are easily accessible and work smoothly with the case installed. The camera lens, charging port, and headphone jack cutouts are spot on in their cut and dimension. Yes, the case is thick as has been pointed out in many other reviews but it is not excessive and now I don’t bother to carry a separate wallet at all. Grab the phone and go. If all locks and automobiles could be set up for use of an app I wouldn’t even need the keys (oh well, give it 5 years). The stand works well to about 30 degrees from vertical after that it doesn’t have a large enough magnet to hold. Some might deduct a star for that but I can live with that easily. I have dropped my phone several times from 3-4 feet onto hard surface flooring with no damage to my phone or the case. But, I expect that has as much to do with exactly how it hits rather than totally the protection of the case. In my case it did work. I bought this case 6 months ago but waited to review it until I was sure it wouldn’t immediately fall apart. It didn’t. Will it last for 2 or 3 years? Probably not, but I feel that it will last until I buy a new phone. It’s a great little case well worth the money. If it won’t work for you Amazons returns are easier than writing this review was...

  6. Nice case for the features
    Rating

This is a two piece snap-in style case; The top part the phone fits in is made of a bendable rubber or plastic, like most snap-in cases, and the back wallet part is made of hard plastic. All the holes are big enough and line up and the side buttons respond normally. I would like to see a higher lip to protect the screen, but it’s raised enough to lay on tables without worry, but may only offer limited protection if it dropped and landed face down; A gravel road could cause damage compared to a smooth sidewalk. I haven’t dropped it on a hard surface yet, but I suspect that although the case might break or split apart, the phone should be protected. The faux leather wallet cover/stand contains thin pieces of metal that are attracted to the magnet lined on top of the frame that hold the cards in. The magnet is strong enough to keep it closed and I don’t worry about it opening. It also takes a little effort to get your finger under the small flap to open it. It works well as a stand and can be placed at a couple of angles horizontally. It can stand vertically, provided it’s on a flat surface, but it’s prone to fall forward so I wouldn’t use it that way. Another feature of the back cover is being able to attach it to a magnetic car mount and it’s held on well, even driving on bumpy roads. As far as the wallet, the inside is open to the back of the phone case. So if you cram in a bunch of cards it starts pushing against the phone and can cause it to pop out of the case. Or it can cause the back section to separate from the phone case part, causing everything to fall out from the wallet. Neither is a good scenario, so you have to limit what you put in there. It may depend on your cards, but I can only comfortably fit in three without causing the bulge issue, or making it difficult to get the cards out. One major issue I had, that apparently doesn’t affect any other reviewers’ phones, this case caused a horrible echo to be heard by anyone I talked to. I couldn’t hear anything, but anyone on the other end of the line would hear their own echo, making conversations with me unbearable for them. I thought it was the phone, but after some testing, with this case on, off and using a different case....it was this case causing the echo. I found out sometimes cases can cause this echo and with a lot, including my particular S7, it involves the top microphone. A little piece of electrical tape inside the case covered the hole and fixed the echo for me. Obviously not a common issue, but definitely worth mentioning. Overall I really like this case, or I would’ve just sent it back instead of trying to fix the echo problem. There are trade-offs with the features, but not enough for me to seek another case at this point. Other cases could protect more. Other cases have better stands. Other cases can hold more cards. But for me this case does enough of each that I’m happy with it so far.

  7. Great, unique phone case

Great phone case. Feels solid in my hand without seeming too heavy or bulky. Buttons on the sides click crisply. Nice cutouts for bottom ports. On to the fun part...the leather back looks nice. There’s a cutout to use your fingertip to lift up the magnetic leather backing. It will easily stay in different positions to function as a kickstand. I can easily fit two cards in the back, three if I really squish it in there. You could put a little cash but you’d have to fold it twice. This is a really nice case-I’m happy with it. I’ll update with regards to durability when I’ve had it a while. My only small little gripe is that the leather on the back is slightly off alignment. It’s so subtle I only noticed because I could feel a little extra leather poke my hand on the bottom left of the case, when I’m holding it in my right hand. No biggie though, I’ll probably trim it, and aesthetically it’s negligible.

  8. The best case ever with minor downfall
    Rating
    100%
The case is amazing in every way. I’ve had mine for over a year. The magnets don’t interfere my credit or military ID. I even use my phone to access a gate with my ID card in it that has the chip, never had to pull it out. Even the guards at the gate have no issues using their scanner to scan my ID. The case’s multi angle for watching videos is amazing. The only down fall is after a while the leather gets weak so opening the back is a pain as the leather softens and it’s to the point where one magnet is now exposed. They should install or stitch in a small tab like a ribbon to make it easier to open the back if I do have to pull out my card. The magnets are still strong but the leather is getting weak to the point its not as strong to hold itself up to watch videos. Despite of its wear and tear, this has been the best case I’ve ever found and compared. I’ve dropped my phone many times and the protection is as advertised. I hope they make it for new phones coming out like the galaxy s10. For now, this is the only case I’ll ever buy period. Not wireless charge friendly but those are only for people who dont want to protect their phones. Does come out of the case pretty easily if you do own a wireless charger.

  9. Best case when you don’t want to carry a wallet

This is the best case I’ve ever had. I’ve had it for almost a year now. It protects my phone whenever I drop it. There are no signs of damage on my phone at all. I thought it was bulky at first, but it fits in all of my yoga/active pant pockets. It says it can only fit 3 cards, but I actually fit 4 in there. It didn’t raise too much, it still closes just fine. The cloth part in the interior started to get loose, but it’s not a big deal since I could just glue it on eventually. As long as my cards stay in place it doesn’t really bother me. The only small con I have with it is that sometimes it’s difficult to get an aux cable or headphones through, but if you go wireless it’ll be fine. I would definitely buy another one just like this when I upgrade my phone.

This case lasted me over 2 years. My phone is still working through many drops. Just after being peeled off many times and regular use it started to not fit as well. My main gripe is that it didn’t work well with magnetic mounts but that is also kinda related to its brute strength. If the metal inlay had been made of a ferrous metal instead of aliminium I’d have bought another. Beyond that this case served me well) and save my phone many many times.
