    Surprisingly, this case continues to work well after two months of heavy use. I keep three cards in it and use the magneting mount in my car with it. So far, the best wallet case for the Pixel5a (and, I’ve tried them all).

    Durable case that holds my three cards easily and conveniently. This is exactly what I was looking for. I’ve dropped my phone a small handful of times from at least three feet onto a wood or tile floor and no damage. I also bought a screen protector to go with this case. Black color of the case makes it clear that the Pixel 5a’s color is actually a dark green rather than black. Reason for 4 stars is when trying to take the case off to clean my phone, I struggled with removing the case. It took me ten minutes and I was worried the entire time that I was either going to break a) the case or b) the phone with how tightly I had to grip the case to pry it off the phone. Even when I finally got one corner off, it was a struggle to get the rest of the case off. Took much more prying. TLDR; Great case, so durable even you the owner cannot stand a chance!

    I think I’m on my third(?) one of these. The previous lasted around five years. Holds three cards, and can fold into a stand. Nothing bad to say about it at all.

    I would probably go with 3.5 if i could. It protects very well. And the wallet is great. But my phone is constantly overheating which didn’t happen with the last case. And it is inconvenient because data gets turned off

    I’ve dropped my phone with this case numerous times over carpet and concrete and haven’t had that "oh no" moment where I think the screen may be cracked. You can fit 3 cards in the back just fine but may take some breaking in. My state driver’s license is made thinner than a regular card so it works out well. Due to hand size and the size of the phone with case, single-handed texting may take a little more effort. Bc of the overall weight, if you decide to use the magnet back for mounting, make sure to use a mount with a strong magnet. Zero problems with adding hard screen protectors. Zero problems with utilizing ports through the case cutouts. Tl;dr - It does what it says, the case works 🤷🏾‍♂️

  10. Should’ve picked this case first, way better wallet case

    I’ve tried 3 other wallet cases for the Pixel 5a, 1 was junk, one was ok but didn’t last and one was decent but the wallet part was thick and too easy to detach so I left it behind a lot. This case is #4 and I wish I had started with it from the start, it’s excellent. The good: Securely holds 3 cards. Magnetic flap really snaps down, I thought it might be flimsy but it is not. Cards don’t show when you’re using your phone Flap acts like a stand No chance of cards falling out, but they’re still easy to get when needed. Back is level, no protrusion for the wallet Fingerprint reader is easy to use even using the case Wide cutout around the USB-C port, which is great because I use a magnetic data/charging adapter. Buttons are great. The other cases I’ve tried all made the buttons muted and without much feel, but they worked. The buttons on this case are raised, very easy to find and retain a nice click. Very well done, so much easier finding the volume by feel how. What’s not good: Since the cards are contained in the case, it’s slightly thicker to create the space for them. This doesn’t bother me at all, it’s still not overly thick. The raised lip around the screen is good and bad. The good is that it protects the screen when laying face down on a desk. The bad is that the lip is fairly high, and interferes a little with gestures. This is not a major deal, I can do all gestures just fine, but I do alter my thumb placement just a little too compensate fire the raised lip. Minor issue. And last issue, I wish I could fit 4 cards in it. Minor issue. Overall a great case for the Pixel 5a, perhaps the best wallet case for it. Lots of good benefits and a couple minor issues. Highly recommended.
